Mark Your Calendar! Join us Sunday May 17, 2026, from 2-5pm as Principal Lei Wang and Vice Principal Omar Gallegos present our age-appropriate summer programs and learn the benefit of art education and career paths including early childhood and high school supplemental for college application.

Students (old or new) who attend this lecture will receive a free bonus lesson valued at $40–$150 (the specific class time can be arranged through negotiation).

Mr. Gallegos will speak on his 20-year experience on the topic of college and art careers with our portfolio program. See how to get into Ivy league schools Art schools and other options. See case studies learn about the future of AI and art education.

Ms. Wang will speak on behalf of her 50 yr. experience on early childhood art education and how children and parents can support on early childhood art development and education through skills and levels within our school growing with us.

Class options available:

The Portfolio Intensive (12-18+yrs.)- Create quality projects for high school, college, transfer and supplemental entry.

The Senior Advanced Group (12-18+yrs.) Targets higher level fundamental skills building and hobbyist with various experiences in art methods with major based concentrations.

The Transitional Age Group (9-11 yrs.) -Emphasis on formal techniques and creative with material exploration including digital)

Children's Creative Group (age 6-8 yrs.) - Focuses on creativity and hands-on experience with art appreciation and mixed media.

Children’s Beginning Group (3-5 yrs.)- Will focus on basics, craft, material and drawing.

WCAAD offers 10-week intensified art training program from June 1st--August 7th, 2026 . Five category groups available: Children Beginner Art Courses (3-5 yrs.), Children Creative Drawing Courses (6-8 yrs.), Transitional Courses (9-11 yrs.), Jr Advance (12-13+yrs.) and PORTFOLIO PREP (14-18+ yrs.).  Various art practice and experience include outdoor sketching, art museum visits, art appreciation opportunities, art education movies, documentaries, and guests.

Join WCAAD Summer School and high school intensive courses with flexible schedules. The Academy offers Summer in-person  and online course availability with full program resources.
