Congratulations to WCAAD student Alice Zhang, 13 years old, for winning the 1st Place award at the 2025 art contest themed “Being Water Wise is…”

Sponsored by PWP and MWD, the "Being Water Wise Is …” Art Contest is open to all K-12 students residing within PWP service territory，and only one 1st Place winner is selected. Each year, participating students submit artwork portraying a water-wise theme, along with a short message about water conservation. The importance of clean and reliable water to public health has been made even more clear over the past few years. Additionally, climate change is stressing Southern California’s water supplies and we need to adapt. This theme of water conservation and stewardship should be reflected in the artwork.
