Yuzhu is an independent, quick thinker, assertive, funny, and street smart. She is straightforward as her work ethic and delivery have always been impactful to her audience and peers.

The commitment and dedication it takes to be a designer and professional artist is well understood, and she has dedicated her time in maturing with every project.

She seemed to multitask as she was driven to able to be the first-generation college student. Now that is a reality! She truly has been passionate in all paths to succeed.

Lisa is an active problem solver and has genuine deign sensibility that is inspired by her engagement and interest in coding, game design and graphically digitally aware of trends, and current market sensibilities.

In class, I find her to lead critiques as an active participant and initiator with not only critical point in her work but willing to help her peers with constructive critical discourse that assist the group overall.

Her life drawings are sophisticated and her love for Entertainment arts are very involved with constant research and sincere attempt to innovate her design.

I find Yuzhu more and more aware of decision making that will eventually carry a solid independence and professionalism. She has been very active as well, participated in competition, critiques, and gallery shows including collaborations.
She can handle complex responsibilities and stay creative under pressure. This was truly proven when we had our senior show “Reminiscence”. I was very surprised, but it was expected that she took on leadership and management. As the president of the Art Club, Panther TV, and member of other clubs she always knows how to collaborate with others for the bet outcome of the team. Outside studies, she has experiences in various competitions most notable her participation and winning the Stop Hate competition 2024.

She can debate on game analytics, topics and research. Yuzhu has extensive volunteer hours and environmental justices. Even though clubs, art classes, and other commitments assist her with various perspectives, you can see that in her work, she has proven her desire to earn a place in higher education.
